Childhood conditioning keeps us trapped: low or erratic self-esteem plagues us.
Childhood is the first, inescapable political situation each of us has to negotiate. You powerless. You are on the wrong side in every respect. Besides that, there’s the size thing.

We can start to change it. Begin by just Noticing.
Pay attention to how you feel about yourself in all kinds of different situations. When do you feel peaceful and happy? When do feel insecure? Worthless? Not good enough? How would you describe your self-esteem? On a scale of one to ten, ten being highest, how would you rate your self-acceptance, self regard, self-love? Is it consistent all the time, or does it change a lot? When does it go up? When does it go down? Just notice.. You don’t have to do anything right now, Just notice.
