What your disposition is?

“I am still determined to be cheerful and  happy, in whatever situation I may be; for I have also learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.”

Martha Washington (1732-1802)

Going forward every day.

No matter what you may think, you are becoming more and more every

single day. No human being can go
backwards. You can only go forwards and upwards.

Even when you feel things are not getting better, remind yourself-today you are so much more that you were yesterday.

Put your credit cards in a jar of water and freeze them.

‘Life was a lot simpler when what we honored was father and mother, rather then all major credit cards.’

-Robert Orben, magician, comedy writer

Are you a person who shops too much? Are you worried about your debts? Do you buy things impalsively, on emotion?

Saying “no” to impulsive shopping is a huge step in the direction of healthy self-care.
Set yourself up to be successful by stashing your credit cards someplace where they won’t be easy to get to.

How to:

Take all your credit cards and put them in a jar of water. Then put jar in a freezer. Be sure not to fasten the jar lid tighthly-leave it loose because water expends as it freezes and you don’t want the jar to brake.

When you got the impulse to use your cards to go shoping, take then minutes to think about why you want to buy something.

Be honest with yourself. Is this urge to buy something by real needs, or by emotions and feeling? If at the end of ten minutes you still want to go shopping, you can unfreeze your cards an go, of course.

The purpose of it to help you to be conscious of what’s really driving your behavior, and to distinguish between “needs” and “wants.”

Buy yourself some flowers

Buy yourself some fresh-cut flowers

Bread feeds the body, indeed, but flowers feed also the soul.

Buy yourself a bunch of fresh cut flowers, or a simple single bloom. Pick the kind of flower that most delights your senses. Some flowers, like orchids, are gorgeous but have no scent. Others like gardenias, are both beautiful and laden with fragrance. Buy flowers that will nurture your spirit, but not brake your bank account. If you have plenty of money, then a big bouquet of imported tropic blooms might be just the thing. If your budget is more modest, parhaps a bunch of tulips or short stammed roses or handful of daises would fill the bill.

Put the flowers where you will see them most often and where they wil bring refreshment when you need it most.

Either home or office is fine. Place them where they will do you the most good.
Men need flowers in their days just as much as women.

Today is the Best Day

Whatever you resist will persist, which means that whatever you passionately
don’t want want, you are inviting to you.
Put the power of your passionate emotions into what you do want, and bring those things to you.

Focus is creating. Focus with emotion is powerful creating.
