Move Forward

Keep pushing forward. Don’t give up as long as you still have something to give. Nothing is really over until you stop trying.

Don’t be afraid to admit a mistake. Being less then perfect is the common thread of humanity. When you realize that you’ve made a mistake, apologize and then take immediate steps to correct it.

Accept your emotions. It’s okay to feel sad or angry. Part of believing in yourself is accepting your feelings. To deny your feelings is to deny yourself.

You are connected

Give a hug, or ask for one.

Make Sunday (or one day a week) a day of rest.
Plan to share time with family and friends.
Don’t feel that you have to do anything special; just be together.

Start “thanksgiving” journal.
Each evening, write down the good things that happened throughout your day. Keeping a journal like this helps us to appreciate the many blessing that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Inner Strength

By taking charge of your thoughts, you can turn them into a powerful source of inner strength and confidence.

Let’s say, for example, that your best friend becomes upset about something you’ve done. Your initial response is hurt and anger because you think you’ve done nothing wrong. But then, in reviewing the situation, you discover something about yourself that you decide to change. In this way, you CAN BE THANKFUL FOR THE EXPERIENCE.

Choose Authenticity

Don’t take on anything new right now.
Plan to spend some time getting to know yourself.
Who are you? What do your choices in life (career, home, car, clothes, and friends) say about you? Is that who you really are??

For example, if it didn’t matter what anyone else thought about what kind of car you drive, what kind would you choose?

Find Your Center

A good deed can do wonders for your heart. Try these random acts of kindness:

* Offer your umbrella to someone in the rain.

* Send flower anonymously to someone who could use a little cheering up.

*Leave candies on the chairs of coworkers while they are at lunch.

* If someone is waiting to pull into traffic, let that person go ahead of you.

* Pay the toll for the car behind you at a tollbooth.

* Leave store coupons  near the coupon items on supermarket shelves.
