Dear Reader!
I hope you went through all of
your good, significant memories of 2009.
I also hope that you did spend some time to write it down in your journal.
I strongly believe, and I am sure, you, too,
that when you write things down they remain, and you can always go back and read it, read it to yourself, or maybe, at one point you will choose to share it with some one.
Speaking of which I had two episodes yesterday when I felt that it was important for me to share.
One, was with my accountant Joe.
Why was that?
As I walked in his office, he was talking to this couple in an angry tone. He actually told them to take their business elsewhere because the husband said that his wife was overcharged by $20.00.
The wife said, I am OK with that. The husband
kept insulting his wife for being s……., and then he left. The wife said, “And this is what I live with for three years…” After she paid and left, Joe said to me, “See, this is what I have to live with almost every day.” And he proceeded to tell me some other negative things.
I listened to him for a while, and then I decided to pull out my journal and share those beautiful memories of my 2009. I asked for his permission to read it to him by saying. “Joe, it may be something completely out of the purpose of our meeting, but from what I heard from you now, I am tempted to share something personal with you. In fact, I want to ask you if you could listen
to what I had written in a last two days.” He said “OK, I am listening.”
As proceeded to read all of what was written, I
watched Joe’s mind started to search for his own
things that he is grateful for. Joe’s face was turning from angry, frustrated to a peaceful, joyful. By now he had his little puppy sitting in his lap, it was so quiet in his office, and I heard the sound of his fish tanks water flowing.
After I finished reading Joe talked about his three beautiful children, all of whom are independently successful, he talked about his new place he moved in, with the view over the lake, he told me about how much he enjoys his continuous upgrades of software. He takes pride of his 30 years of experience. He told me he wants to be known not cheap, but very knowledgeable, one of the top, and on, and on….
It was so beautiful… I mean, the way his mind
was switched on to good things in his life.
We ended up this meeting with his commitment to sit down, and write it all out. In fact, I went out to the Dollar Store across the street, and bought the Note Book for him.
After that I had Dinner Meeting with Keith. We were to meet up because he became a Star Consultant yesterday. Keith went trough few rough spots in a previous year.
Keith and I started to work together from approximately end of January 2009. Keith loves astronomy, he has Master Degree in Financing,
he is reader, he is a father of three sons… his father practically raced him on his own.
I was tempted to share my writing with Keith,
and what we ended up talking about was how many good changes happened with him in a year 2009. He talked about how he now truly believes
in Isagenix, and in The Network Marketing Business Concept. He remembered all the training that we had last year. He now has an unshakable belief in the Natural Selling Concept, which I introduced the group from Michael Oliver. We did a lot of role-playing sessions,
He believes in “Listening For Success” by Steve Shapiro. We Had Training Sessions on this, he understands that we are in “People’s Business”
therefore, we must develop relationship skills.
He told me about his relationships with his father. They are 180 degrees warmer because they talked a lot. His father started to use Isagenix Products at the age of 80, after his stroke, and other issues. Since that his father is not complaining about anything, in fact, he was flirting with a waitress the other day.
Keith talked about his own changed relationships with his sons, one of whom is from his first marriage. He had them all a Christmas, and every one got along. His father was very relaxed, and enjoyed himself.
By sharing all of this with me, Keith actually realized that he is now ready to teach what he learned. He is very excited about his Year 2010.
In conclusion, he said: “What a difference, how my life looks now compare from previous year!!!
Well, I really hope that you want to spend your quiet time, and write all the grateful moments of the Year 2009. Are You?
It cannot be missed. It has to be written. It MUST be written.
I can assure you, you would love your life the way you made it happen in Year 2009… and after that you will be ready, and very excited to start your thorough planning and strategising for Year 2010!!!
After all, YOU ARE, AS I AM…
“We Are Architects Of Our Onw Lives”
By The Way, this is the workshop we have for small groups of people in my Team.
So, Today and Tomorrow, in a last 2 Days of 2009 I’ll help you to start planning.
What do you really want to see happening, and WHY?!
Why would you be working your best in every area of your life?
Why would you sacrifice, and
let go of the time you could spend watching television, or having to listen endless complains
of your co-workers, or some friends.
Why would you let some draining relationships go…simply go away from them, maybe for a while, or maybe even forever?
Why would you start reading different books?
What kind of books? Of course, not fiction books! You want to read life teaching Books, some book like: Stephen Covey “The 7 Habits of highly effective people” “Living The Habits” (The Courage to Change), Jack Canfield “The Success Principles” Dr Wayne Dyer “Change Your Thoughts Change Your Life” and many, many others.
Why would you stay true to yourself in adapting Healthy Eating Habits, Exercise Habits, Self Talk Habits, and your old none-productive relationship habits?
Why?! Because you know it will give you
HOPE to FIND THE BEST OF YOU, and when you do this,
think of
HOW MANY LIVES COULD BE CHANGED FOR BETTER.
So, before we will go the rest of the planning,
could I ask of you to sit down in a quiet place, and think of those WHYs? It could be many, many, no limitation.
Let Your fantasy fly…let it flow…
Till Tomorrow,
With all my Love and Commitment to Personal Growth,
Janna Sosensky.
