Good Thoughts

.

Do not worry at all about negative thoughts each day and do not try to control them.

All you have to do is to begin to think good thoughts each day. Plant as many good thoughts as you can each day. As you begin to think good thoughts you will attract more and more good thoughts, and eventually the good thoughts will wipe out negative thoughts all together.

Jack Canfield

What about you?

One of my good thoughts every morning is: I make cooperation and goos service the rule of all my business dealings.

Kvetch…

.

Kvetch…
once or twice.
Three times the most.
Then quit your complaining, and get over it.
It might make you feel good, but the rest of us are sick and tired of hearing it!!!

Rachal Snyder.

Personally, I don’t know anyone like this, but if you, pass it along, it may eventually get to the right source.

Express Yourself

Dear Reader,

I wanted to share with that I am very inspired and excited by great energy that I receive from so many of you.

Thank you for your participation and feedback.
Every time I get your comments, I feel like someone was reached in the right moment with the right thought. It makes me feel that by creating “Thought of The Day” I begin my day with a purpose.
If you forward to your friends or colleges, you may ask them whether they want to be included in the “Thought Of The Day” Mailing List.

 Express Yourself

Untie your tongue and untwist those knots in you belly. Let your feelings be known and don’t hold back. Express yourself. If you’re grieving, cry. If you’re tickled pink, laugh and giggle and practice around the room. If you’re angry, be so. Use words. Write them down, speak them, put them out for the world to hear. Call a talk show and express your opinion. Express your art.
Use crayons, use clay, use clarinet. Express yourself with your hands. Sign. Draw pictures in the dirt, finger paint, knot.
Express your feelings for someone else.
Write a song. Sing it. (Ok, you can type it.) Pick out tiny gifts that express your love, your gratitude, your apologies, and send them off in tiny boxes and pouches filled with glitter and confetti. If you want them to arrive tomorrow, express them.

What is Joy?

Joy is NOT about being happy all the time. It is not about having a life that is free from problems or challenges. It does not mean that once joy is discovered, one will never feel pain or fear or anxiety again.

Discovering joy DOES mean that through all of the difficulties of life - through all of the pain, fear, uncertainty, grief, loss, financial or health issues - through every challenge presented in this physical existence we call life, we can still possess JOY at the core of our being.

This kind of joy comes only from a relationship with the Divine. And from that relationship comes the deep and abiding understanding that everything in our life ultimately works together for our best and highest purpose. When we know this, the difficult times become easier to bear. Over time and with the growth of that relationship to Spirit, we can discover the River of our Heart and where its true course would lead us. When we discover the flow of this river, and learn to move with its current instead of fighting against it… that is when we will truly Discover Joy.

At DiscoveringJoy.com we want to help you discover Spirit and build a relationship with the Divine. We’ll provide you with insights, information, and resources to help you remember your authentic self and identify the flow of your own heart’s river so that your journey can be as peaceful and fulfilled as possible. It is our ultimate desire to give you tools through which you can begin truly living in a relationship with the Divine, travel at the center of your own current, and discover true Joy in your journey.
