I wake up each morning with blessings and gratitude for the wonderful life I lead, and I make the choice to think happy thoughts no matter what others are doing. No, I don’t do this 100 percent of the time, but I am up to 75 or 80 percent right now, and it’s made big difference in how much I enjoy life and how much good just seems to flow into my everyday world.
The only moment you ever live in is this moment. It’s the only time you have any control over. “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery, today, is a gift, which is why we call it “present.” My yoga teacher, Maureen MacGinnis, repeats this in every class she teaches. If you don’t choose to feel good in this moment, then how can you create future moments that are abundant and fun?
