Take Action Today for
More Positive Self-esteem
 
1. Dress and look your best at all times regardless of the pressure from your friends and peers. Personal grooming and lifestyle appearance provide an instantaneous projection on the surface of how you feel about yourself.

 
2. Volunteer your own name first in every telephone call and whenever you meet someone new.
 
3. Take inventory of your good for self-esteem today. Write down what your “BAG” Blessings. Accomplishments. Goals.
4. Respond with a simple, courteous “thank you” when anyone pays you a compliment for any reason.
 
5. Sit up front in the most prominent row when you attend meetings, lectures and conferences.
 
6. Walk more erectly and authoritatively in public with a relaxed but more rapid pace.
 
7. Set your own internal standards rather then comparing yourself to others. Keep upgrading your own standards in lifestyle, behavior, professional accomplishment, relationship etc.
 
8. Use encouraging, affirmative language when you talk to yourself and others about yourself.
 
9. Keep a self-development plan ongoing at all times.
 
10. Smile! In every language, every culture-it is the light in your window that tells there’s a caring, sharing individual inside and it’s the universal code for “I’m OK.-You’re OK. too!”
