What’s Your Personality? A Shift in Thinking

Partly due to current research findings, Western Medicine is finally beginning to understand and embrace the idea that there is a connection between mind and body. Physicians are starting to recognize that in order to truly heal someone, they must deal with the disease and the mental state of person, and must treat the cause as well as symptoms.

More and more physicians are encouraging patients to see diagnosticians such medical intuitives and holistic practitioners, who can help them understand how their patterns of behavior influence their health.

These practitioners can also teach them how to change their thoughts, and modify destructive behavioral patterns that have potential to create illness.

While processes that the practitioners use are not new or particularly innovative, more and more they are being proven effective.

Some of these technics include meditation, breathing exercises, visualization, and affirmations.
These processes greatly improve a person’s ability to control and channel their thoughts in a positive way, thus improving their physical health.

The benefit of embracing this healing perspective and incorporating these technics into our daily routines is that the root of the illness can be removed so that permanent healing can take place.
